As the Conflicts Increase

As the Middle East conflicts increase, we can know that something BIG is coming soon! Either there will be an all-out war with Iran with the US being heavily involved and leading to a huge war...or...there will be a treaty involving several nations to arise. And since the Bible doesn't tell us about a huge war before the "covenant with many", I fully expect that covenant to become reality soon. Jesus said there will be wars and rumors of wars. Keep your eyes and ears open for what comes next in Biblical Prophecy. Iran and Turkey and possibly Egypt will be big players and we should watch to see what other nations will join in.

"But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.” (Luke 21:9)

We Are Living in Perilous Times

We are living in VERY perilous times! Massive earthquakes in Myanmar and Thailand, wars in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, rioting, fires, tornadoes, political corruption and chaos in the US. It's like everything that can be shaken is being shaken. We need to be praying for all those who are caught up in the chaos, and we need to be praying for our families and everyone who does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The signs we have been warned about are happening right in front of our eyes every day. Time's short Friends...we MUST be about our Father's Business!

"And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." (Matthew 24:4-8)

What Signs are YOU Looking For?

I want you to think about something…the first time that Jesus came to the earth, why do you think that so many people missed His appearing? Why do you think most of the people didn’t  recognize Him as the Messiah they had  been waiting for and anticipating for so long? I can tell you why…it was because He didn’t come in the fashion that they had imagined, and the circumstances of His life certainly were not what they expected.

Consider this…Israel had been under the oppressive rule of the Roman tyranny for quite some time, and the people had envisioned a Messiah would come on the scene and deliver them from its authoritarian power that they had been enduring for so long. They had read the scriptures about a coming Kingdom where righteousness would rule, and they envisioned a Leader Who would put everything in order, and they would finally be able to live in peace. They were looking for a Conquering King…not a Humble Servant!

Finish the Race Well

The Christian life is not a sprint...it's a marathon. No matter when you began your race, your goal is to finish it, and finish it well. Our goal is to keep on running and to keep our faith all the way to the end. As the Apostle Paul said, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing." (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

Does the Bible Teach of a 7-Year Tribulation Period?

Does the Bible actually describe a period of 7 years when there will be great tribulation on the earth. I want to share with you exactly what the Bible teaches about those seven years, so that you won’t be deceived when the time comes. Let’s examine the scriptures…

First of all, let me qualify myself by saying that I have been a Christian for 42 years and my gifting in the Body of Christ has been for many years to study and teach the Word of God. And I have been deeply interested in studying the scriptures regarding end times prophecy for many years. Having said this, I want to also say that there are several points in what I hear from many teachers on this subject that I find totally unbiblical. One of them is the theology that teaches of a coming “7-Year Tribulation Period”. Let me explain…

In the 9th chapter of the book of Daniel, in verse 27, the prophet wrote:

“Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”

Everything That Can Be Shaken

Two major wars raging in separate areas of the world, hundreds of Christians being massacred in Syria, massive amounts of corruption and deception being exposed in governments all over the world...is there any doubt why the Hebrews writer wrote:

"See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain." (Hebrews 11:25-27)

How Can We Anticipate the Coming of Christ?

Anyone who tells you they know all there is to know about end times prophecy and how everything will turn out is not telling the truth. Much of what will happen will not appear as most people imagine.

Remember, the reason that most people didn't recognize Jesus when He lived on the earth is because He didn't appear the way they had envisioned. They were looking for a Conquering King and what God sent was a Humble Servant. They were looking for Jesus to overthrow the Roman government, but instead He declared a Kingdom which cannot be seen with the natural eye.
And, because He didn't fulfill their expectations, the only ones who recognized Him were those who had divine revelation and were paying attention to the signs...and that, my Friends, is exactly how it will be in the end-times. As we inch closer and closer toward the final count-down, those who are paying attention, studying the scriptures and listening to the leading of the Holy Spirit...those are the ones who will recognize the time when Jesus will come again. The Holy Spirit will give more and more revelation as you seek Him for more Truth.
Remember, He said, at the end of His description of what will occur at the end of the age, Jesus said, "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:28)

As the Nations Begin to Align

As countries battle it out over their individual stances on the two ongoing major war efforts and the nations align, and each nation has their own idea of how to deal with them, the world is experiencing a HUGE shift in power and dominance. Jesus said there will be wars and rumors of wars, and, sad to say, we know that war has always been a big money-making business. So many lives are affected and so many lives are lost...but Jesus said the end is not yet. Keep praying for many to be saved in the world, Friends. The Gospel must be preached throughout the world...and then the end will come!

The Holy Spirit Guides Us Into All Truth!

The Holy Spirit has recently been revealing more and more into what we need to be looking for as we get closer to the end of the age. It's amazing to me the insight He will occasionally just drop into my spirit and reveal to me about questions that I have had regarding scripture. He truly is the BEST Teacher of Truth. Open the Scriptures for yourself and begin reading and studying the Bible and invite the Holy Spirit to guide you into all Truth and trust me, He really will!
