Which Side is Telling the Truth?

It's really strange how each side of the conflict has its own story as to who won and what the future holds. There is so much corruption in government you really can't believe what any of them say anymore. Deception is rampant and you have to keep your eyes and ears open so that you won't be deceived. The mainstream media is lying on both sides and you have to search for independent sources who are not involved with government control and have no personal or political stake in what is going on in order to find out the truth of what's really taking place. And the best place to look is in the Word of God, because His Word will prevail and every prophesy will happen exactly as God says it will.

"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4)

Who Will Sign the Covenant??

Israel has indicated that they are ready to call a ceasefire in their war with Iran. Reports are that there was no enriched uranium in the places where the US dropped bombs, but the administration is still claiming that there was. The only way to resolve the conflict in the Middle East is either the US will supply more weapons to Israel and the war will be prolonged or there will be a peace treaty between the involved countries, and Daniel called this treaty a "covenant with many".

We should pay close attention as the nations begin to negotiate a deal to stop the bombing. Let's see which countries sign on. We are watching Biblical prophecy in real time.

In Daniel 9:24-27, Daniel the prophet wrote:

“Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.

“Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.

“And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”

The Alliance is Forming...

If you read the Bible, you should see clearly where this war is leading the world. Iran is already in talks with Russia, China and Turkey, and most likely other countries will take sides soon. The alliance is forming that will agree to a peace treaty with Israel, but we know from scripture that the peace they promise will be short-lived, and Israel will be betrayed. And it will not go well for them...and possibly us too. Remember, not only are we looking for our Messiah, but so is Israel and so is Islam. Someone will rise and lead the nations, but it will spell catastrophe for Israel.

"Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4)

The United States is Probably Going to War...AGAIN!

It looks like the US is about to be drawn into another war in the Middle East. Remember that Netanyahu was claiming "weapons of mass destruction" in 2003 which was the claim that President Bush used to put us at war in Iraq...and the weapons were not there. That war opened up the country to be overtaken by ISIS and many innocent people suffered horribly and many died.

Bibi Netanyahu has been itching to go to war with Iran for decades...and now in the middle of the night on Friday the 13th, Israel bombed Iran repeatedly, siting "weapons of mass destruction" again. And it seems that Israel is not doing very well in their war efforts, because many of Iran's missiles are getting through the Iron Dome, and so far, 224 in Iran and 14 in Israel have died and many have been injured because of this war...and now it seems that the US is about to join the efforts.

This war could escalate very quickly with Russia and North Korea joining the efforts. And we don't know how many Iranian dissidents may already be in the US, ready to take action here. War is a horrible thing no matter who is involved.

The truth is, we already see in scripture how this whole thing will eventually end, but it's going to get really ugly before Jesus brings it all to an end. We need to be watching and praying.

"For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened." (Matthew 24:21-22)

How Can We Pray About This War?

If the US engages in the war between Israel and Iran, you can be sure that Russia, North Korea and possibly China will side with Iran. That pretty much leaves the US, Israel and the NATO countries on the other side. The nations are being forced to choose sides. This could be a long and vicious battle Friends, and we know that many lives are at stake on both sides. I don't even know how to pray about this war...there are many things that we're not being told and there's a lot of deception going on.

This conflict feels just like before the war with Iraq began when they kept saying it was necessary to go to war there because Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Of course, now we know there never were any weapons of mass destruction and that war was for nothing and many lives were lost int he process. It's so sad that we are at this place in history...again.

Wars and Rumors of Wars

As the war between Russia and Ukraine intensifies, and the war between Israel and Hamas and the Houthis grows more each day, now a new front is before us...Israel vs Iran which is expected to draw in American military forces. Our military is already battling riots and violence in California...and they are working to hold back fighting in the middle East, we need to know that another warfront in Israel is also dangerous for the US. President Trump has stated that we will in no way allow Iran to have nuclear weapons, which is exactly what Iran intends to do. According to reports, they are almost in the position to make 10 nuclear bombs at this time which is a huge threat to Israel, plus our military members and bases stationed all over that region.

All unnecessary Government officials that are in Iraq have been ordered home and military families are being given the option to return home. This could easily turn into a world war with Russia, North Korea and China siding with Iran in the conflict against the US, Israel and European forces. Friends Jesus told us to watch for wars and rumors of wars, and we are seeing exactly that now. But He also said, the end is not yet...so we know we will be seeing more events to come.

Please pray for God to take charge of all the battles going on right now. We already know from scripture how it will all end, but between now and then, it's gonna get really bumpy! We will definitely need to hold on on faith and truth the Lord.

In Mark 13:7-8, Jesus warned us: "But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows."

Only the Absolute Truth Will Set You Free

You will DEFINITELY need to be attuned to the leading of the Holy Spirit in these last days in order to know what is real and what is fake, what is truth and what is a lie, who is good and who has bad intentions toward you and everyone you love. You will need to learn to look much deeper than the surface level to find out which way to go and what you should do in the days leading up to the return of Christ. Without paying attention to world events, knowing the TRUE Word of God and following the leading of the Holy Spirit, you will not make it! Truth is what will set you free! Just watching the daily news on TV is not going to lead you into truth. The news agencies only tell you what they want you to believe.

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?" (Matthew 7:15)

This scripture is true of false prophets, but it also applies to everyone you come in contact with...friends, family members, employers, politicians and people you come in contact with every day. We need to learn to listen to the Holy Spirit who has come to guide us into all Truth and obey what He leads us to do.

Finding Rest in Christ Jesus

When you actually totally surrender your life to Christ, your life becomes much more peaceful. You no longer worry about what tomorrow may bring, you don't have to be in control of what's going to happen tomorrow, you don't feel like you have to be in control of every circumstance in your life. Now that does not mean that you no longer care what happens or that you don't have sympathy for others who are going through great challenges. Certainly you care about the world condition and what others are feeling. But, you can finally rest and take comfort in the fact that no matter what happens, God has already gone before you and He will always make a way for you, He will take care of your life and no matter what challenges may come your way, God's grace is sufficient to bring you through. THAT is the Rest that we find through obedience and total surrender to God.

"There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience." (Hebrews 4:9-11)

When Change Begins to Happen

Most people who say they're looking for help to change their lives don't really want help to change their lives. What they really want is for somebody to tell them that they're doing okay just like they are and then to enable them to stay that way.

When a person really wants to change their life, they have to first realize that what they've been doing is not working. Trust me...I know what it takes to change your life. I remember who I used to be! But I also know that when you get sick and tired of hurting all the time and when you realize that everything you try to do ends in failure, then you begin to do some deep-down soul searching. And then, of course the key to begin to make change is to realize you can't do it by yourself...if you could, you would have already done it! You need something or someone outside of yourself in order to make the changes you need. But the problem is that most of the people you know have their own demons to battle just like you do.

But about that time is when someone comes along and tells you that the only way to find lasting change is to allow God to change you on the inside. And when you truly surrender your life to Him, the Holy Spirit comes in and that's when real change begins to happen. You begin to learn day by day how to walk with Him, listen to Him and obey those little nudges He gives you. And day by day, you begin to see the changes that you need begin to take place.

Is it easy? Is it sudden? No way! Your lifestyle needs to change...your thinking needs to change, your activities need to change, your acquaintances need to change. You become a new person inside instantly, but your mind still needs to be renewed. And that's why you need to spend lots of time in God's presence through prayer and reading and studying your Bible.

And then, little by little...day by day, you begin to realize that you're not the same person that you used to be. You don't like the same things you used to like, you don't feel comfortable hanging around with the same people you used to hang around with and you just don't want to put up with the things you used to put up with. You don't want the drama and chaos that other people want to bring into your life anymore. You don't want to hear the language that the world uses, you don't want to go to the places you used to go and you don't want to do the things you used to do. And you learn to totally appreciate the peace that passes understanding that the Holy Spirit brings into your life.

And so, if you're ready for the life change that your soul longs for...begin now by telling Jesus that you've messed up. Ask Him to forgive you and to give you the strength and courage you need to surrender your life 100% to Him. And then watch the changes begin to happen as you walk with Him everyday! Amen!
