If you think there's nothing to this Christianity stuff, think about this...when you talk to people about God, they don't mind that, when you talk to them about Mary, Moses, Abraham, church, the Pope, any of the "Saints", and most people are just fine with it. BUT...when you mention the Name of Jesus... THAT'S when the problems begin. It's Jesus who is the Divider, the Stumbling Block. Why??? It's simple. Jesus Himself said very emphatically, "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, no one comes to the Father except by Me." What people can't accept is that there is only ONE Way to be reconciled to God The Father...and HE IS THAT WAY! People think they can approach God any way they want to. They think that God winks at their sins and that they can have God while they continue to live in sin. Well Friends...I hate to disappoint you but the gate is very narrow...and unfortunately, most people will choose the wide gate...the easy way, the way that leads to destruction. Won't you come through the narrow gate...won't you truly repent of your sins and ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life. God's not going to change His mind...He has already dealt with sin once and for all, and it was through the atoning death, burial and resurrection of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. There is no other way!
“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it." (Matthew 10:34-39)
