One of the greatest lessons I've learned in my life is that everybody messes-up at some point in their lives. It doesn't take a whole lot of talent to mess-up. But if you mess up and you learn the lesson that the mess-up provides, and you allow it to change your life...then it was worth it. But if you mess-up and you just keep doing the same thing over and over and you never learn from your mess-ups, then you're just wasting your life and you will never amount to very much.
You see... I've made a LOT of mess-ups in my life...but I've also learned a LOT from them and I've tried to allow those lessons to change my life. So the person you see today, whether you like her or not, is really just the result of a LOT of mess-ups, and a lot of lessons learned.
And the MAIN thing I've learned is that God is good, and kind, and loving...and anything He asks us to do, is not because He wants to keep us from having any "fun". It's because He created us, and He knows how His Creation works best to experience the abundant life He has planned for us. I've experienced some of His abundance, and I can tell you that His Ways are perfect and good and pure...and more exciting than anything the world has to offer.
No, I'm not a perfect person, but one of the greatest lessons I ever learned was that the ONLY way to experience the life God intended for you is to simply obey Him. It took a lot of mess-ups for me to learn that lesson. But you don't have to learn the hard way like I did. You can just trust Him and obey Him now to enjoy the beautiful life that He created you to live. He really does love you and He wants to give you the best life that you can't even imagine. Trust Him and live in obedience to God and His Word, and you will NEVER be sorry you did!
