The Cross was about
forgive-ness of sins. All the sins of the world were placed upon Jesus at
Calvary and He paid the penalty for them all. Whatever it is that you've done,
God has already provided for your forgiveness. He holds NO unforgiveness toward
you. But REPENTANCE is what restores your relationship with God. Repentance is
about you changing your rebellious heart so that you are no longer at odds with
God. That is what allows you to enter into His presence to have a close
RELATIONSHIP with Him! So to be reconciled with God, you need both The Cross
which provides forgiveness for your sins, and repentance, which puts you in
right relationship with God.
